Dulcis Vita: A Domestic Psyborg Fanzine will be a fanzine centered around the relationship of Fulgur Ovid and Uki Violeta from NIJISANJI EN’s fifth wave, Noctyx. Please note that this is a fanzine, and as such, will have no connections to the original livers themselves.This zine will be free, digital only, and will be SFW in content.

This is a free, digital only zine that will be about the relationship between Uki Violeta and Fulgur Ovid, with a focus on domestic life. This zine is not affiliated with ANYCOLOR, or NIJISANJI.

For this zine, we aim to feature 15-18 artists and 5-7 writers. These contributors will produce page art, digital merchandise, and comics about the two characters.For any questions you may have, please read the FAQ, or email us!

Head Mod / Organization Mod - Evelyn (They/She)Evelyn is a comfydant currently in college for art. They have a great passion for the Nijisanji fandom, and enjoy organizing large projects where people can come together and share their works. Evelyn was the head creator of Fukuma Week 2023, and is a contributor for multiple zines in current production.

Head Mod / Graphics and Formatting Mod - Mind (She/Her)Mind is a stargazer with a passion for writing and design. She’s an active member in the Nijisanji EN/comfygazer community and enjoys creating different kinds of content. When she’s not doing that, she likes playing rhythm games and rougelikes. Mind is new to zines, but is excited and dedicated to moderating and participating!

Writing Mod - Jess (She/Her)Jess may be new to the Nijisanji EN fandom, but she's been having an absolute blast ever since joining the community. She has experience as both a moderator and contributor to zines both completed and ongoing, and is stoked to be helping out with this project!

Contributor Rules/Expectations✩ All contributors must be 16 years old or older in order to participate.
✩This is an English zine, so all contributors must be able to communicate in English.
✩ All applicants must provide at least two pitches when applying. A pitch is a short proposition or idea of what you would plan to do for the zine. (Please be wary if you wish to apply with heavy themes, and make sure to add content warnings when necessary).
✩All applicants must be willing to create at least one new piece; reusing pieces that an applicant has made before is not allowed.
✩ All applicants must have Discord, as it will be the primary method of communication. Applicants must also have their DMs open, in case Moderators need to communicate with them. (Responsiveness is a necessity, so please keep that in mind).
✩All applicants must check their email provided frequently, as that is how acceptances will be issued.
✩ Plagiarism, tracing other fanworks, or AI usage will not be tolerated.
✩Moderators hold the right to dismiss any contributors from their position if they are found breaking these rules.

Artist Guidelines✩Artists will be asked to submit a portfolio of 4-6 of their best illustrations that clearly represents the style they wish to use for the zine.
✩Pieces featuring Uki and Fulgur are not required, but are highly preferred.
✩This portfolio should be accessible in a single link, not individual links. (For example: Carrd, or Google Drive.)
✩If you wish to make a comic for the zine, please supply an example of a comic you have made in the past. If it is multiple pages, it will be counted as one whole work and not as individual pieces.
✩Pages of the zine will be 8.5” x 11”, or 279.4 mm x 215.9 mm.

Writer Guidelines✩Writers will be asked to submit a portfolio of 2-4 pieces of their best works that clearly show the style they wish to use for the zine.
✩Pieces featuring Uki and Fulgur are not required, but are highly preferred.
✩This portfolio should be accessible in a single link, not individual links. (For example: Carrd, or Google Drive.)
✩Works must be between 1,000-2,500 words, and must not exceed 2,500 words.
✩Works must be able to be read and understood as standalone pieces. (For example, do not submit a chapter of a multi-chapter fic if it will be confusing without the context of the rest of the story.)
✩All works must be written in English.

A: The theme of this zine is to focus on the domestic relationship between Uki Violeta and Fulgur Ovid of Nijisanji EN. This zine will be entirely SFW, and will have a loose main color palette of pastel purple and red.Q: How much will this zine be?
A: This zine will be free to download, including merch!Q: Will I need to put in my address to receive the zine?
A: No! As this zine will be entirely online, there will be no requirements for mailing addresses or payment.Q: How many contributors are you aiming to accept?
A: For artists, we hope to accept somewhere between 15-18. We aim to have about 12-15 page artists, with 2-3 merch artists. For writers, we hope to accept 5-7. In total, we will have somewhere between 20-25 accepted contributors.Q: What does a Merch Artist make if it’s only digital?
A: Lots of things! Printable bookmarks, phone / desktop backgrounds, matching profile pictures, and more!Q: Can I draw / write other Nijisanji members in my piece, too?
